Happy Holidays

I really wish I wasn't blogging about this but I am. After much thought, I have decided to close down the shop. I want to enjoy my family during the holidays. It is my youngest baby's first Christmas so I want to make sure I capture every moment. I am also taking the time to concentrate on my photography business. So far, it has been moving forward and I am very pleased with the turnout. I hope to launch the new website in Jan. 2010. I really would like to take this time off to perfect my skills and try new techniques.

I want to wish all my loyal customers a wonderful holiday season! You are the best and have been very good to me through the years. It is time for me to open up a new door to express my creative outlook!

Shop closing for 2 weeks

I will be closing my shop next week until Nov. 6th. We are moving and I will need this time to get settled in to our new house. I will open back up in time for the holiday rush. Even though the shop will be closed, I will be accepting emails and possible custom orders so feel free to send me a convo. I cannot promise that I will be able to make the order but I will try my best.

I have closed the shop for the time being so I can concentrate on my other business and catch up with Etsy orders. I should open my Etsy shop back up after Sept. 8th if all goes well. At that time, I will only accept a certain amount of orders per week.

I could seriously be the worst blogger in the world! lol! If it isn't one thing it is another. We just got the kids feeling better. All of them got sick at the same time so as you can imagine things got pretty chaotic. Right now we have family visiting us for the holiday weekend. The fun never ends. I hope everyone had a fun and fabulous 4th of July!

We got official word last week that our daughter got picked up to be a Gooma Girl Model! Some of you may be familiar with their clothing line Baby Gassy Gooma. We are so excited for this opportunity to work with such a fun company. Hopefully it will bring some great exposure and experience for us.

Also, I have decided to take on a new business venture. I am very excited about it and I hope that it works out for our family. Those of you that know me personally already know what I am about to do. :) With that being said, I may close down my shop to concentrate on the new business/career. I have already slowed down with my Etsy shop because of the time I have been putting into the now "hobby" that I hope turns into a career. I will definitely keep everyone posted on this matter..... and dare I say, be a better blogger as well. ;)

We are back from an incredible time with the kids! They had so much fun and we enjoyed every minute of it! Mom and dad need a vacation from the vacation! :)

I opened the shop back up today but I will not be listing much this week as I have a large order I need to finish for a sweet customer. She was kind enough to wait until I got back for me to finish her order. I have to make her a couple of dresses and a few tops along with 20 hair clips. My days of of being up late at night and catching naps between nursning the baby are back in full swing. Anywho...her order inspired me for another new line so once I finish her order, I will be able to take pictures and post the newest idea. :) I also get to use my new studio lights for the pictures too! I am still waiting for my backdrops. I am excited about them getting here as well.
